Drain Configurations

In order to meet a variety of application types, Bradley washfountains are available in four drain types (be sure to identify the correct drain type for your application):

Drain Type A
vent & hot/cold water
come from wall pipes

Drain Type B
vent & hot/cold water
come from above

Drain Type O
vent to bottom
hot/cold water from above

Drain Type H
vent come from above
hot/cold water from bottom

How Many People Can Wash Their Hands at a Time?

Bradley washfountains are sold in models that can accommodate two to eight washers simultaneously, which means the same project would require up to eight individual lavatory sinks to achieve the same results. Washfountains are available in semi-circular, circular, and corner units. Semi-circular units will fit in long, narrow washrooms equally well as lavatories. Circular washfountains work well in larger spaces or corridor installations while the corner mount makes use of otherwise wasted space. See below for typical footprints:

Water Spray Console Sectional vs Non-Sectional

Water Spray Console Sectional vs Non-Sectional Washfountains utilize either a sectional or non-sectional spray-head module. Non-sectional spray- heads can be activated by a single user and produce measurable water savings because they can serve groups of users with less water than individual lavatories. Sectional spray-heads enable each user to activate her own spray nozzle, producing even further water savings because the whole unit does not need to be activated for one user.
