Bradley Mounting Styles

Bradley partition materials are available in a range of mounting configurations depending on material. Your Project Manager will help you select the right mounting style based on ceiling height, floor finish, maintenance requirements, and building use.

Series 400 — Overhead Braced (Sentinel)

The most common commercial configuration. Panels and pilasters are anchored to the floor with pilaster shoes, and a continuous headrail connects stalls at the top for structural rigidity. The Sentinel headrail is a Bradley trademark, designed for heavy-use environments where stability under abuse is critical.

• Best For: Schools, stadiums, government buildings, any high-traffic or heavy-use application.
• Ceiling Height: Works with any ceiling height — headrail is set at a standard height independent of ceiling.

Series 500 — Floor Braced

Panels and pilasters are anchored to the floor with bracket shoes and connected by a headrail at the top — but unlike overhead braced, the headrail is not structurally supported by the ceiling or wall. This creates a clean, open appearance and is ideal when ceiling height varies or when headrail attachment to the ceiling is impractical.

• Best For: Renovation projects, variable ceiling heights, spaces where headrail installation is impractical.

Series 600 — Ceiling Hung

Panels and doors are suspended from a ceiling carrier rail — pilasters hang above the floor rather than being anchored to it. This mounting style is highly favored in healthcare and food service because it eliminates floor-level obstruction, making mopping, pressure washing, and floor maintenance significantly easier.

• Best For: Healthcare facilities, food service, clean room environments, any facility with rigorous floor sanitation requirements.
• Floor Clearance: Panels hang clear of the floor, enabling unobstructed floor cleaning.

Series 700 — Floor-to-Ceiling

Maximum structural stability — panels span from floor to ceiling and are anchored at both ends. Floor-to-ceiling partitions are the most abuse-resistant configuration available and are commonly specified for correctional facilities, high-abuse institutional environments, and any application where vandal resistance and stability are top priorities.

• Best For: Correctional facilities, high-abuse institutional environments, all-gender restrooms, maximum privacy applications.
• Stability: Maximum of all mounting styles — no headrail movement, floor-to-ceiling rigidity.

Bradley Mills Partition Privacy Series

Standard Configuration

58-inch high doors and panels, mounted 12 inches off the finished floor. Available in all mounting styles and all four materials. The industry-standard configuration for most commercial applications.

No-Site Configuration (Bradmar / Powder Coat)

Bradley's No-Site system eliminates the need for visible wall-return strips — panels mount directly to the wall using concealed fasteners, creating a cleaner, more seamless appearance. Available in Bradmar solid plastic and powder-coated steel across Series 400 and Series 700 mounting configurations.

• Key Benefit: Eliminates visible mounting strips for a cleaner architectural appearance.

Enhanced Privacy

Bradley's enhanced privacy configurations raise door and panel heights and reduce floor clearances to eliminate sightline gaps — addressing the growing specification requirement for increased visual privacy in commercial restrooms. Available across multiple materials.

• Taller doors and panels compared to the standard 58-inch configuration 
• Reduced floor clearance to minimize gaps at floor level
• Continuous hinge-side fillers and door stops to close sightline gaps

Ultimate Privacy — Floor-to-Ceiling (Series 700)

Bradley's highest-privacy configuration combines Series 700 floor-to-ceiling mounting with enhanced privacy door and panel heights. Doors and panels are available at 69 inches mounted 9" off the floor for standard stalls, or 72 inches mounted 6" off the floor for maximum privacy — eliminating overhead sightlines while the floor-to-ceiling structure closes gaps at the sides. Available across all four partition materials.

• Height: 69" or 72" doors and panels — significantly taller than the standard 58" configuration.
• Best For: All-gender and unisex restrooms, hospitality, corporate, and any application where maximum visual privacy is required.
